Although rare, side effects of MCT oil may include diarrhea, vomiting, irritability, nausea, stomach discomfort, and intestinal gas. These are most likely to happen if you take too much MCT oil or take it on an empty stomach. Chances of side effects are lessened by taking with water and restricting the intake of tincture to 1 teaspoon or less a day. If wanting to dose more than 85mg hemp extract [60mg of cannabinoids* (50mg of CBD)] a day we recommend purchasing our 1500mg (1050mg cannabinoid*) formulations, as they are three times the concentrations of our lower strength formulations.
